MTS the Changes

When we established Managing Transformation Solutions (MTS) in 2009, our dream was to make a difference. To help ease the socio-economic transition in South Africa through our expertise in the Mining Industry, assisting our clients to invest their resources (time, money, and people) in efforts that will change the lived experiences of their employees and the people in their affected communities in such a way that will also secure the longevity of their business. This rather bold and very brave goal has guided us to constantly remain innovative, with a solutions mindset, embracing change.

Not only has this mindset guided the products and solutions we provide our clients, it has also led us to pivot from an office-based consulting firm to a digital cloud-based solutions firm, a change we made pre-COVID and one that stood us in good stead over the 18 months since the pandemic first arrived on our shores.  There is nothing as stressful or exhilarating as reinventing your business. As part of the process, we embarked on project ETHOS. A deep introspective process that guided the values in our business and led us to the principle of self-determination. Changing our organisational structure from a hierarchical manager led structure to an organic self-managed team structure. We capacitate our team to play a key role in determining their efforts, income, and development opportunities. Gaining a deeper understanding of the role of people at the center of everything, the pebble in the pond, the ripples our actions cause in our lives, the lives of the people around us and the environment in which we live. Change starts with each one of us, as leaders, as employees and stakeholders in our communities and the broader world.

To our clients and friends who have supported us throughout the years, there are many of them; I say thank you for believing that we can work together to implement the change needed. I am incredibly excited about the opportunities we have as a business to build back better and bring about the change that we as the people of this world need to make to secure the future of our children and the well-being of all living things in our world.
